In the lead-up to THE SANCTUM: MODERN METAL FESTIVAL 2026, Sanctum Promotions is delighted to host THE MECHANIST & ALEYA for an intimate Birmingham stop on their upcoming United Kingdom tour. Welcome to Dead Wax Digbeth's incredible 230-capacity outdoor stage, the same space where we host our annual summertime festival.

HEADLINE BAND: THE MECHANIST
Formed in the industrial heart of Yorkshire, THE MECHANIST have expanded their technical onslaught into new territories of pummelling groove, soaring melody and pulsating electronics as a musical reflection of the volatile and unpredictable times we live in. The band's versatile sound has seen the band performing alongside HACKTIVIST, INVISIONS and many more, as well as making appearances at UK Tech-Fest.

Armed with colossal, catchy, anthemic singalongs that rival the likes of WHILE SHE SLEEPS and BEARTOOTH, Manchester's own modern-metal quartet, ALEYA, are a sincere favourite with The Sanctum's team, having garnered immense demand to return to Birmingham after they have effortlessly entertained crowds across the country in 2025 with titanic singles "Spiral & Decay" and "When the Light Goes Out Inside" featuring OVERTHRONE.

Harbouring a malignant ferocity unlike any other in the Birmingham scene, hometown heroes DEAD MOB emerge for their next Birmingham performance as a special handpicked guest by The Sanctum's team. Bringing out overwhelmingly crushing cuts "Death Awaits" and "Sentenced" in 2025 with more infernal bangers dropping this year, DEAD MOB echo the likes of Malevolence and Fit For An Autopsy with mechanical mastery over their craft.
