IO are an alternative post-hardcore band from Birmingham. Having been on the scene since 2006, 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the band, and the show will celebrate the release of Orbit of Ruin, the band’s fourth studio album. The album is a powerful step forward that pushes IO’s sound into heavier, more explosive territory. Recorded at Riot Smith Recordings in Birmingham, the album blends post-hardcore, metal and prog into something more immediate and volatile than anything they have created before.

Charlie Butler:
Formally a member of the excellent instrumental metal band mothertrucker. Now based in Glasgow, Charlie will be travelling back to his home town to perform his loopy, droney, doomy, psych jam.
To the Wall:
Rising from the ashes of Shapes and &U&I, they bring noise and big choruses, think poison the well post You Come Before You.
